Common Myna bird

Outside my sister’s house in Wigan. This is not a native bird so I wonder if it has escaped from someone’s collection. My sister put the photo on a local Facebook page just in case.

We met family for breakfast this morning….really enjoying English breakfasts whilst we are here. Had a two local walks, dodging the showers. One walk was through Wigan Mesnes Park (see extras) and the other was along the Leeds/Liverpool canal. Out to meet more life long friends tonight. Tomorrow we head into Wales for a few days and probably won’t have any wifi.
