The rain has been coming down in biblical proportions for most of the day, heavier than I have seen it for a long time. The pathway from our gate resembles a river at the moment.   I do sympathise with people who live on flood plains with all the problems that brings.  We are luckier in that we live on high ground and although there can always be a little localised flooding, particularly where drains have become choked with debris, in the main the water drains away easily.  

We are having a little break in the rain at the moment and the sun has come out, so a quick round of the garden is called for.  There is a bit of damage to plants, and a few flowerheads knocked off, but nothing too bad.

Usual Sunday for us, a later start this morning due to our late night, and looking forward to seeing Cali for Sunday dinner.
