tenderete

The tenderete is a small once-a-month local market created by the neo-rural incomers to Santolaya. It´s been badly curtailed by the Covid restrictions but is slowly finding its feet again. The main is someone selling his produce from a stall - in living memory people from these few villages used to walk a couple of hours into Villaviciosa or Infiesto on market days carrying the produce they wanted to sell - and then walk back.  So - the main shows a man on a stall, extra 1 shows another stall, and extra 2 shows what´s cooking for the day.
