Meet up with my friends again this morning to go out for brunch at 10.30am - we went to 4 cafes in different parts of Wanaka, and they were all full!
So off to the supermarket and bought a few goodies and put together our own brunch at one of our friends place. Much quieter there too! I suspect the snow wasn’t very good so everyone decided on going to a cafe. I tend to avoid Sunday brunch times.
Farewelled 2 of the friends back to Dunedin, had a short rest before another Dunedin friend came for afternoon tea. I was expecting her, so whipped up  some date scones which we all enjoyed.
So, a very social day and now feet up time by the fire. A few snow flurries today, but we want it to fall at the skifields much more heavily.
