The Gathering Storm

It was a struggle to get out today. The rain was very off-putting. But we did get out at around 3pm to Riverside Country Park (Gillingham, Kent). The weather remained very pleasant for a couple of hours but you could see the clouds gathering once again. Still, they created an interesting sky for a while.

Perhaps this poor, abandoned wreck was one of the ‘Little Ships’ used in Operation Dynamo to rescue troops from Dunkirk?
