The Royal wave

Gordon was our RD for the first time.

One of the jobs of an RD is to be on standby as the emergency contact during the event and you are not allowed to help with other jobs It can feel a bit lazy when others are rushing about doing things.

I suggested Gordon practiced his royal wave and he did very good job as I ran through the amphitheatre.

I was planning on running for the first time since the return but the volunteer photographer was a no show so I got given the job of running photographer. A good excuse to stop for a breather.

Mr RIU booked a test drive for a replacement vehicle .
