Our son wasn't sure he wanted Little Miss to do the float down the Deschutes River today; but he decided if she went with his sister (our daughter) it might be okay. Little Miss loved it......they had so much fun floating for two hours......of course they had lots of snacks for the group of ten. It has been so much fun having all of us together at our daughter's place; it is nice with 9 bedrooms and 5 baths for all 16 of us! The place is right on the Deschutes River; it is nice because they take the paddle boards, kayaks & canoe by truck up river to a private community parking place and then float  back to the dock here.  I had an enjoyable quiet afternoon in a lounge chair over looking the river.....reading a book and watching the variety of water craft floating by. If you have time see extras for some of the others in our group floating to the dock. No, the crazy guy photo bombing on the floating island is not part of our group.
