Night Fever
Up sharp to get ready to head to Dundee to meet up with 3 friends I’ve known since 1979 - oh heck that’s more than 40 years!!
I’d bought train tickets but decided to take the car as I’ve been told by a few people that the trains are very busy again with every seat and more occupied. I decided I didn’t want to be in that situation so the car was a safer option. It was an easy drive and despite a couple of drive arounds to find parking, I met the ladies on time outside the V&A.
We had tickets to see the current exhibition of Night Fever all about disco, the club scene and so much more. It was wonderful - we spent almost two hours looking at the exhibits and listening to the music before having lunch in the cafe.
As we’ve not seen each other in person for almost 2 years, we had lots to catch up on and the time just flew. We had enough time to look round the permanent exhibition - lots of wonderful examples of Scottish design. Everything was there from clothing to ceramics to jewellery and furniture. So interesting. I really loved the large jug (in the bottom row of the collage) - beautiful but a little impractical.
Home to find Phin had continued his naughtiness and destroyed a plastic storage container he snatched from the drying rack. Mr PHL did some research and it could be a couple if eeeks before his hormones settle down - guess that makes sense. We’ll just need to keep everything out of his reach!
