Sketch this!

Had an arty morning - along with a friend we went to a local walled garden where a sketching artist from Edinburgh gave us an hour’s tuition on sketching flora etc (for free!). It was good but quite hard as he started us on these flowers which are pretty hard!

After that we did views of the garden and then we sat down and had a dabble with watercolours. Very enjoyable - the first time I’ve drawn or painted in months if not years!

Also nice to show my friend the house, hoping to have more people round in next few weeks as it feels a bit less like chaos here now.
