‘Down came the rain in torrents’

I think I chose the wrong time to go for a walk this morning. It was dry when I started my walk round the Heritage Park loch but I hadn’t gone too far when I had to find some shelter under the trees.

The gulls and geese weren’t bothered and were still in the same places when I eventually squelched my way back to the car. Fortunately I keep a towel in the boot so I was able to keep my seat dry.

A great catchup this afternoon with my group from the patchwork class. We were last together in March 2020 and look forward to the class starting again on Aug 17th.
