The surf might be up...

... but the school is closed. 

We all went for an extended (Rahenies, Nana, Ubcle Martin and Cousin Leo, les Nounours) walk in the forest and the drizzle instead. 
It was refreshing and exciting. We got soaked and the daft, blind, deaf, geriatric, challenged spaniels provided the entertainment. Jojo very nearly got hit by a car within the first minute (that was fun) and then proceeded to get get bogged in a bramble-filled ditch (that was fun too, especially for Nana)
