I love neon. If there is two things in signs and advertising that I love, it's neon and hand painted signs. Actually, those are the only ones I can stand. It's hard to find bad ones because its not easy. Takes work, thought, and process.

Anyone can create a sign or billboard in a program and upload it to a vinyl sign makers site for them to print. Insert terrible fonts and design via Word, Paint, or Publisher.

Thank goodness we can still find simple art like this out there.
