A little prick

My lodger got her second jab today at the Kassam Stadium so we are all completely vaccinated in our household.

Kate was due to arrive from Sheffield - the first time I’d get to spend a good chunk of time with her since she moved the Sheffield 4 years ago. For the next two weeks I was to be helping her empty her house ready to sell it.

Then, five minutes before she arrived I got a call from J to say he’d tested positive for Covid. I’d seen him briefly in my garden last Thursday. So, everything was cancelled and I was banished to my bedroom.
