A day for water sports

An early start for today’s Orienteering meant setting off in waterproofs. A disastrous number one which I just couldn’t locate in head high bracken. Eventually stumbled across it. By this time I was wet and cold and wondered about retiring but decided to stick with it. 

Richard although on a shorter course set off an hour later and nearly beat me back to the car. Heavy thunderstorms throughout the afternoon meant this was the only photo I grabbed on the way back to the cottage. I think I was wetter than this group canoeing and paddle boarding on this Lochan!
