We have come up north on our holidays, with a first stop in Aviemore for two nights.

Plenty more Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the way!

Dreadful rain.

A nice lunch in a random cafe, then we visited the Highland Folk Museum. This is an outdoor museum and we got VERY lucky with the weather! The site is a couple of miles across and you can go in a variety of different buildings as they would have been in the Highlands over the past 300 years, including houses and farm buildings and shops and workshops and a school. It was very interesting and we had allocated 75 mins which wasn't enough so we'd like to come back.

But onwards, we'd booked a slot to swim at our hotel. Due to restrictions the pool was very quiet, which was great.

CyclopsJnr and cyclops went to the park while MrsCyclops checked in, and it turned out we could get our included dinner pretty much straight away so we went there before we'd even gone up to our room.

CyclopsJnr ate plentifully.

Then, found our room and straight to bed. Tired.
