Cootlet

Woke up to torrential rain but it didn't last and the rest of the day was mainly dry with the odd glimpse of sun. Mr Rat did get wet, though, as he took the car to the garage for delayed work and an MOT and ran home, before the rain had stopped.
Most of the day has been inside, making bread, altering a dress, watching Olympics (including a fantastic run by Laura Muir who's club is just half a mile from here), finalising the parts of Sunday's service that have to be put on computer and wrestling with my laptops vagaries. It decided to save a powerpoint into June's photos file!.
Late afternoon I decided I'd better go for a walk so I went to see how the birds were getting on at the ponds seeing as I missed them yesterday. I was glad I hadn't run as my legs were feeling the after effects of yesterday's hill reps, especially the downhill part.
