One Year

I tried and failed to get the sisters into one blip today, so they get two photos: Rani as the main blip, Chaiyya as the extra.

Today is all about the two of them. It’s exactly one year ago since P and I took Rani and Chaiyya home with us. They were just three months old, and had been rescued as little kittens, along with their (feral but severely malnourished) mother, and two brothers. 

It was very tempting to take all four kittens with us, but Munni (the cat) would never have forgiven us. She’s suffering enough as it is, especially from Chaiyya’s playful attacks. 

The anniversary calls for a party. All three cats will dine on tuna tonight, and P & I will share a bottle of bubbles. To celebrate our furry friends, among other things.
