The View From the Bar

One thing I wanted to do while we were here was have a drink in the garden of The Ferry Boat Pub which overlooks the beach. It’s been packed every day but today there was a table free when D and I went for a walk. It was probably due to the fact that it had been raining for most of the day and most sensible people were indoors.
We had a lazy and slow start to the day then we all went into Teignmouth and spent some money on the amusements on the pier then went for lunch in the town.
Poppy and Johnnie cooked carbonara for dinner then we had a few rounds of cheat and now we’re watching a film. We’ve had a lovely week but now everyone is looking forward to getting home.
