Chestnut Bolete

Walking along the south side of Loch Affric in Scotland I came across this giant mushroom. According to my fungus friend it's a bolete, Gyroporus Castaneus. It doesn't have gills, rather the underside is like a sponge. Apparently they are edible, you'd get quite a meal out of this one, but I wasn't brave enough to try.
