We're Back!

We did something we’ve not done before. Drive down to ‘our’ beach in Galloway and drive home in a day. Could not have had a nicer day, the roads were quiet both going and coming, the weather very pleasantly warm and the walking comfortable and it was remarkable that nothing much has changed in the 21 months we’ve been away.
We even managed to catch up with our friend in her newly redeveloped house.
The folk in the foreground of the picture had cycled down to the beach and went for a swim but it was fairly obvious they were not local when they started to run to the water and then run some more and then even more I think they got to their waists before having a bit of a dip to complete their Triathlon.
