Age is just a number

Being in the UK we have of course had some rain, quite a lot of it today. 
A perfect excuse to hit the penny falls at the Pier...

I've never been on a Pier that was particularly classy but this one was particularly bad. Perhaps it was just the foul weather. Anyway we didn't stay long, retreating to a Cafe for lunch.

Once we were back across the river to the nicer place (Shaldon) H and I went for a last walk along the seafront. Amazingly we managed to get a table in the FerryBoat Inn garden, it was lovely looking out across the beach and river across to Teignmouth which with a half closed eye and a few pints of beer could look a little like Tobermory, I say a few pints....

Pops and Johnnie are cooking tonight then a bit of packing before heading back tomorrow. It's been a good week.
