Watered silk

Weather not as bad as anticipated. We leap out at around 11 for a blast around Glengarriff woods, fantastic whatever the weather. In the centre of the Big Meadow Walk is a small lake with an island. It is always still and calm with some amazing reflections. The other excitement was seeing a silver streaked fritillary which very obligingly posed for me. At least I think that's what is was - if anyone knows better please let me know!

Plenty of downpours and plenty of bright sunshine plus rain at the same time. Will and I just risked a swim down in Kitchen Cove. Refreshing but we both bumped into a jelly fish which luckily didn't notice. 
Himself is making quesadillas  - yum.
