View from a hotel - Turkey

I took this photo from my hotel room in Turkey.
Why am I in Turkey in January? I am meeting colleagues from Turkey and Latvia to try and prepare for a new Comenius project.
But what a bloody awful journey - lots of delays etc. leading to a 21 hour day of travelling, and KLM lost my luggage. The cherry on the cake? SNOW.
4 foot snowdrifts almost stopped me from getting to the hotel.
And..... when I arrived, the room minibar had no alcohol. I know that I shouldn't sound like an alcoholic, but I have to say that after a day like I had, a can of Fanta just isn't enough!! Being in a Muslim community may tax my will power!
