My first homegrown tomato

Today I picked and ate the first of my homegrown tomatoes and it was delicious!
On the 3rd of April I sowed half a packet of seeds, and they germinated very well.  The variety is Tomato (Cherry) Gardener’s Delight. I have four large plants in the front porch, two in the back porch and one outside. The rest of the plants I gave away to friends and neighbours. With the warm sunny weather and the fact I have not been away on holiday as in a normal year, this trial has been a great success and I look forward to eating many more sweet juicy tomatoes in the weeks to come!
