El Papa

Back in sunny BA this time staying in the Palermo Soho - an area of boho chique according to the Lonely Planet!

Of course today was important for Argentina as it was the inauguration of the Pope and there was lot of excitement - especially from Jessie who just had to have that flag. I must say I was tempted by a rather nice badge but resisted.

Tried to do a bit of shopping but they don't open until mid day - what's that all about?

Visited a great museum of the city in San Telmo and a couple of Basilicas appropriate to the day.

Also got covered in yucky stuff - a scam apparently. They offer you tissues and water and then I suppose help themselves to some of your wares?

Luckily or unluckily we just got covered in the stuff and marched off crossly. Chris still trying to clean his shirt. I can't be bothered. It's dried now!
