They can only say no...

On the lookout for potential subjects 'on the edge'  I wasn't having much luck - people seemed either to be purposefully walking their dogs along the beach or else on their way in or out of the water in swimming costumes, with or without small children, which all seems a step too far in the whole 'asking random strangers if they mind if I take their picture'. Saw these two sitting on one of the groynes on my way along the beach and they were still there on my way back so I asked if they minded if I took their picture as they sat there chatting in the evening sunshine. I know there are people on blip with thousands of photographs of strangers but it still feels difficult for me just asking.
