Blue
This morning I had our video Book Club meeting with my sister and friends in Australia. We had a good discussion about A Man Called Ove which we all enjoyed except for one of us, who hated it.
This afternoon I was inspecting the Dwarf Crabapple to see if the aphid infestation was getting under control when a brilliant blue flash of a Bluebottle caught my eye. Unfortunately, the sun went in and I couldn't capture the same brilliant blue. As you can see, the aphids are still in force on these new shoots. I am hoping the large ant and the bluebottle are aphid predators but the aphids are getting another spray today.
The extra shows how the blue-arsed fly expression came about!
