Wednesday: Lion & Lamb

We went on a drive out today in the area, with my auntie, Diane.  She lost her husband in March and we’ve obviously spent a lot of time talking about that and the impact it’s had, and is having, on everyone.  He was very central to the family and everyone is feeling his loss keenly - particularly when it comes to organising things as it was definitely his strength (and isn’t anyone else’s……..).  We stopped for a lovely pub lunch in Horsley.

My uncle cooked up a splendid lamb dinner tonight.  And my cousin, who came round twice yesterday, also came round twice today……..that’s how things roll here………
