This morning I went across the border into Gibraltar once more to the chiropodist to pick up my new insoles.

Although they don't cure my aching left hip, they do make me stand straighter and walk more easily.

I was in and out in an hour and so I paused at the mirador to take a picture looking back at the rock.

It was a refreshing 21˚ in Gib, but later in the afternoon the temperature reached 39˚ in Puerto Nuevo and it's going to be a sticky old night.

It might spur me on to do something about replacing the air conditioning.
