I read an awful article this morning that said, not knowing this brand new virus, scientists assumed it would mutate at a rate like others. They didn't picture it spreading so quickly and so far. We have billions of people infected. In each infected person, the virus replicates. Each replication is an opportunity to mutate. "A single person infected with COVID-19 might carry 10 billion copies of the virus, enough to produce billions of mutated viruses every day." Most will be nothing but, ... enough monkeys over enough time and eventually one might type Shakespeare. Billions of copies per person, billions of people, .... if my passport weren't in the belly of the Department of State I'd go to Iceland this year.

Three days down, I haven't sold the government yet. 

I was told it takes a year to learn how to work in government. Other people agree with this estimate.
