Life’s Stages
Cloudy, then sunny with very mild temps all day. Hubby had a very busy day with my mother. She had an appointment with the cardiologist, they went to lunch and to a fruit and vegetable stand for peaches and corn. He will be taking her for a follow up test in a few weeks. Momma sent the cherry pie she made for us. Before coming home to get a well deserved nap, Hubby stopped at the grocery store for bananas. He has a Knights meeting later. My big accomplishment was firming up our WV menus, creating a spreadsheet of who is responsible for what and preparing my grocery list. Spent most of the day outside soaking up this beautiful weather. We got another large bowl of tomatoes. They are as delicious as anticipated. Dinner just might be a bacon and tomato sandwich since hubby already ate. As I sat on the porch, I contemplated the beauty of these hydrangeas from bud through spent flower head. Every stage brings a smile when compared to the stages of human life, all of which contribute their own specialness to the world. Thanks for the visit. “Flowers whisper ‘Beauty!’ to the world, even as they fade, wilt, fall.”– Dr. SunWolf
