Viola

A bit of a desperation blip.  A busy day in Edinburgh, doing some DIY round Katkatkat's flat, taking her to order carpet for the new house and another visit to one of the DIY "sheds".  Late afternoon arrived, we loaded the car and headed south.  We stopped for a meal at Abbington near Biggar.

When we arrived home I was delighted to see House Matins in our newly erected nest box.  I hadn't expected any this year with all the work on the house.  I suspect they are "sussing" the site out for next year but if we are really lucky we may get a late brood.  Unlike Clickychick I didn't manage to catch any of the activity so settled for a quick shot of a Viola.
