True Finland
The Bothnia region of Finland is full of contrasts. The coast was inhabited by the Swedish Crown seven centuries ago, and the population there is still mainly Swedish-speaking. There's a persistent cultural boundary between them and the Finnish-speaking inlanders. The area is quite religious, but in some communities knife-wielding hoodlums and all kinds of rebels of yore are revered. The Bothnians are famously laborious and attached to their small communities. People coming from elsewhere may find it hard to integrate. The region has spawned great war heroes and they're fiercely patriotic. Many Finns see them as True Finns.
The red two-storey house is typical of the region. The landscape is very flat, which can be seen in the extra. Cloudy skies don't look the same in other parts of Finland.
