As long last the Bo’ness Heritage Railway is back in action steam!
We drove over this afternoon and took Chloe for a walk round the old harbour. There are some very interesting photos on line of the harbour in action way back in the 20s. All a cunning ploy to pass the time until the 3.00 pm train left the station!
This morning we took a run round past our local Osprey nest where we can observe and photograph from the roadside and without leaving the car. We were keen to see how they are getting on as they will soon be heading south for the winter. Momma goes first, then Poppa goes and finally the kids follow on. How they know the route all the way to West Africa is completely beyond me!
