Sphinx

Jack auditioning for avenue of the sphinx in Egypt! This was our lunch stop on today's section of the Ridgeway. No stunning views today just a bit of a slog from Nuffield to Lewknor.

On returning to our car at Nuffield we investigated the tea & cakes sign at Nuffield Church & found delicious slices of cake in the fridge with tea & coffee making facilities. Well done Nuffield church!

Too tired to take a photo, but it's well worth a visit if you're in the area. Plain but interesting Norman church with Lord Nuffield and Sir David Frost buried in the graveyard.
