Sweet Peas and the Community Food growing.
The Feast Day of St. John Mary Vianney.
Today has been busy and productive from 7am. The temperature is 21c, warm and close. No small tortoiseshell butterflies are around so far.
Arthur has thankfully stayed indoors while the builder continued and completed the exterior house wall plastering and fitted a vent. He is a kind, cheerful, competent worker. He swept the yard and cleaned up the path.
I was grateful the Good Lord enabled dry, warm weather for the plastering work as it takes a while to dry. It is seriously hard work and requires a lot of energy and skills to do building maintenance and improvement to a decent standard.
Later, we hope he returns, when the dry weather is hopefully not a heatwave, to paint pale grey the wall, so it is the same as the rest of the exterior walls.
The neighbour moved this week, so we hope for someone not too noisy. Not that they were especially noisy.
The blipfoto is a picture of the beautiful sweet peas and a look through the railings of the many excellent produce being grown there including flowners, fruit and vegetables. The space is neat and well used. I enjoy seeing the cycle of seasonal changes, including the harvest time.
Take care blip friends and thanks for visiting my site today.
