... to say hello. I think he goes under the name of 'the dingy footman'. Or officially Collita griseola. (I stand corrected if he's something else.)
Anyway he's very friendly.
Thanks everyone for your kind words yesterday. We are still keeping ourselves to ourselves, as we are both a bit vulnerable etc.
So a large Tesco fresh cream trifle (delivered) bought by my wife went down a treat..
We are in huge dilemma about where to find a permanent home. A (bit rough) house in Ireland near daughter and family. Plenty of green and views. But exchange rates, living costs 20% higher, medical /dental costs a lot higher etc etc.
Or a mews type house which will take all our stuff quite comfortably near Salisbury because as it has no garden hasn't got a 20 to 30% price hike attached to it like every other property. But little chance of seeing daughter as we do not trust safe travel arrangements. Despite what we are being told we will soon see that things are not as rosy as we are being led to believe.
Anyway we are trying to enjoy where we are right now..
