Drum

This is our first Native American drum, purchased during our visit to Albuquerque in 2001. It was the Zuni Pueblo that it came from. That year was our first visit together in NM.

I first passed through ABQ in 1976 when I drove Route 66 and stayed a night. My first serious visit was in 1983 when I came to do a photo report and story on Albuquerque's famous man of fitness, Clarence Bass. He is still going strong, and is now approaching 85. We have never stopped coming back.
