Feast for the eyes

This is a slight cheat of a blip, as it was actually sent to me by a friend in Israel.  I met her via our respective husbands, who know each other via the technology world, and thought we would get on. We very much do, and met in person at a ‘tech conference’ in the UK in 19,  I. is a translator, and is an official translator of biographies , and has recently completed both of the Obamas.
She is also a university lecturer in historical costume,  and has introduced me to some wonderful podcasts. This week she has been to a new fashion and costume exhibit in email, and sent me this picture of ‘the hat room’ … these are all based on deserts. When I googled, I realised I knew the milliner responsible, as he was a tutor for London Hat week back in 2019.   He is absolutely exceptionally gifted and innovative.  I’m now wondering about a cupcake tower!
