Canal walk

I took Angus back to Manchester today, and whilst there had the chance to watch Libby in her swimming session. She is already doing better than her Grandma. We then had a very pleasant lunch and then I offered to entertain Libby while Miss H did some more painting at their new house.

Libby and I went for a lovely walk along the Ashton Canal, passing the Fairfield Junction and lock photographed here. Also passed the Jam Factory which has been demolished and is having many new houses built on it. It is the old Robertson’s marmalade factory, and the developers are not being particularly original with their choices of names for it! See extra
