Wading in the Water
Just another normal sort of stint plodding up the Water of Leith removing detritus. The level is quite low at the moment so all sorts of things that have lurked beneath for years are becoming grabbable. Lots of metal railings and the end of a cast iron park-type bench. M got her eye in for wet wipes hanging in the bushes on the banks and found she couldn't ignore them - they're the result of the last localised flooding when the sewers combine with the run-off from the streets. Strange that folk still regard them as flushable. At least she didn't find any sanitary towels on this occasion. :-(
An early evening yoga session, then a bath and an early night are suggesting themselves.
