I've finally caught up with the last couple of days here on Blip!

Today, we had a mall walk with Diane, except we ended up looking at laptops as she wants to change hers. That was fun. It's always great to see what's "out there".

We had a quick whizz around M&S to get some lunch before we went over to hers to watch some more Olympics. She's got a massive, curved TV and it's so amazing to watch sports on it! We ended up staying until nearly 6. It was super to catch some traditional Olympic disciplines like the high jump, hammer throw, pole vault and gymnastics. Now, I feel like there's an Olympic event taking place in Tokyo!

Life Group was good, as always. We're settling in nicely with our new Pastor. The other thing to note that happened was an email from the Wafi Marketing team informing me I had won tickets to the VIP experience in the newly opened VOX Cinema on their premises. It's part of their summer promotion. Very nice!


PS. My blip is of one of the areas we walked past in Dubai Mall. The cafe in the thumbnail is extremely popular, even when the rest of the mall looks empty.
