Swimming

Took both dogs to the golf course this morning as it’s going to be hot and we are travelling home. They had a great run and Darwin was straight in the pond even with out his ball. He had fun swimming after his ball but too lost it in the water until we throw a stick nearby which resulted in a long swim for him. Came back and found out that Bagpus, the cat mum and dad had wasn’t very well, he had an infected wound on his leg. Mum managed to get an appointment in the evening for him but this got moved forward as it was worse than she first though. Took him to the vets but he had to be put to sleep as it was too bad. Not sure how much more of this sort of thing I can cope with at the moment. The cat was going to be nice company for mum in the next few months even if he wasn’t a cat that liked attention, it was still someone in the house with her. Had to leave mum to get back home as we have things going on that we needed to sort out but she seems OK. Long journey home was OK on a Thursday night compared to a Friday but it was midnight by the time we got back.
