The End Is Nigh

We were quite relieved to reach the 18th tee on this morning’s round as we were in danger of running out of space n the scorecard for our high scores! I managed to have three eights and a seven on my card (although I’d par three of the par 3s, including the last here) to balance the books a bit and still was nowhere near the prize for the highest score on one hole as my partners got two tens and an eighteen, a bit of a record for us, which involved rather a lot of shots in a bunker! Still, we got our money’s worth.

This afternoon was spent recovering in front of the Olympics on TV.
