Mum with her Grebettes

Sadly there are only two now. I was so happy to see them this morning - there has been no sign of them the past two two mornings. I walked along bank by the Longwater following them as they were swimming towards Hampton Court Palace, then they disappeared into a little side channel out of sight. I suspect their nest is there.
I am relieved to say that my lovely Mum has rallied a bit. I am hoping to be able to look after her at home with a comprehensive care package and a hospital bed. I am grateful for my early  morning hour in the park, after which I go to  the hospital to spend the morning with Mum.
