Flying Away

Headed to Santa Fe, New Mexico this afternoon to see, well, she's actually my ex-sister-in-law, but we call each other sisters, which is a lot easier. I haven't seen her since December 2019 - she had surgery late that December and then of course the pandemic hit. I'm a little concerned about the increase in cases, but I'm vaccinated and of course I'll wear a mask at the airport and on the plane (I would even if it weren't federally mandated). But it will be a joy to see her. It's a quick trip, back late Saturday. I figured I'd better get my blip done early today....I doubt we'll be at her house until quite late. 

The garden was literally glowing this morning, full of pollinators. I missed the bee on this Echinacea purpurea - Purple Coneflower - but talk about glowing :-)
