Sun at Last!

At last, we had a sunny day and managed to get to the beach. D and I went first and set up camp, Pops and Johnnie followed about an hour later and Alfie never materialised at all. It wasn’t exactly wall to wall sunshine but D has a very red face and Poppy has burnt her legs. The sand is really red and stains your clothes and shoes. We had a nice, relaxing time reading and snoozing. D and Johnnie played a few games of boules and tried to persuade Poppy to go out on a kayak (unsuccessfully).
