Worked.

Came home.

Started cleaning carpets.

Came downstairs to four phone messages.
Two relating to George dislocating his thumb.
Could I go and get him and get him to the hospital?
Next two messages relating to Hannah, who'd tried cutting the end off her finger. Could I get her and take her to hospital?

I picked them up.
George's thumb looks swollen, but not dislocated.
Unbandaged Hannah's cut thumb, sore but not needing hospital.

So I carried on cleaning the carpets.
