Ichneumon Wasp?

A rapid glance around the garden as the clouds gather and the light fades, after returning home from a pleasant patio lunch with Greg and Catherine. This Tachinid Fly appears to have an internal heat source! The Ichneumon Wasp in the extra - at least I think that's what it is - was possibly egg-laying into the sedum. Or practicing his pole vaulting.
