A lovely Lady

Another good day for butterflies ...... they were enjoying the sunshine & busily feasting on the Buddleia :-)

This beautiful Painted Lady agreed to pose for me today .... previously she had just fluttered off in a huff if I got anywhere near with the camera! Maybe she hadn't done her hair & make up on those other days! ;-)

The Blue fluttered by again .... still didn't stop .... it must be extremely picky if it can't find something in the garden to its liking! lol

There was also a Dragonfly executing a flying display .... unfortunately it then continued on to pastures new without pausing for a photograph!

With all that & the bees all over the Lavender it's fair to say the garden has been a hive of activity! Oh yes .... pun intended!!
